Delivery Info

We’ve Got Your Delivery Sorted — Here’s How It Works:

  • You’ll receive an email the evening before delivery.
  • You’ll also receive an email as soon as it’s been delivered.
  • We deliver in our own sign written vans – so you (and your neighbours) know who’s pulling into your driveway!
  • We try to leave your order where you’d like it — just pop any delivery instructions into the notes section at checkout or email us. If no spot is given, we’ll do our best to leave it somewhere sheltered and/or out of the way.
  • We take extreme care when delivering — if your driveway is steep, slippery, or risky for our large manual van, we’ll err on the side of caution. A heavily loaded van having to stop suddenly on a hill can be dangerous, and long gravel driveways can be tough on our vehicles too. In these very rare cases, we may leave your order in a safe place next to your letterbox and text you at the time of delivery.
  • We also take a proof of delivery photo showing exactly where your bales were left — your usual spot, a side of your property you might’ve missed, or, very rarely, the wrong address.

While wrong deliveries are very rare, if you can’t find your order or think it’s somewhere unexpected, we’re here to help.

Delivery Costs

  • Orders under $40: $15 delivery fee
  • Orders over $40: Free delivery to most areas between Bombay and Mangawhai

Delivery Timeframes

  • We aim to deliver orders as quickly as possible. Since we deliver everything ourselves and offer free delivery on most orders, we typically wait until the van is full before heading out.
  • We do aim to deliver within 7 business days. Most orders are well under this – especially those in central suburbs.
  • Some areas, like Mangawhai and remote outskirts, may have a 2 – 3 week wait.
    Timing does vary depending on when your order comes in — for example, if I’ve just been to your area, it might be a little longer before I’m back that way again, or, I could be there within a day or two!

  • Cornwallis, Piha, South Head, Clarks Beach, Manukau Heads, Kawakawa Bay please note:  Delivery may take longer as we wait to consolidate multiple orders to make the trip more economical. In some cases, it can take a fair while (especially in the quieter season like winter) before we have enough orders to make the trip out worthwhile — thanks for your patience!  Want it sooner?

    – You can collect from Waimauku or One Tree Hill.

    – Or arrange a rendezvous with us halfway in a nearby suburb when we’re passing through.

    Often our more remote customers will coordinate orders with their local family, friends and neighbours helping us make the trip out to you a lot sooner!
